This is my first attempt for pixel art but I've learned a lot by watching videos and reading anatomy of tilesets and how they behave. A tileset is called a set of square tiles. I wanted to bring some variety to my game by adding some textures on my own and not to depend so much from Kadokawa RTP –as sometimes it's hard to get really cool and modern tilesets for VX Ace nowadays, or even assets in general. Most of them follow the same pattern for default tiles from Outside or Dungeon pack. That explains the difference between the A1-A5 tiles and how each is used, as well as the format of the B-E tiles. I decided to give a little bit of contribution to your making with a tileset pack. Now with character sheets I resized and reformatted the tilesets from RPG Maker XP for use in MV a while ago (they can be found here).I still had the 32x32 pixel versions of the reformatted tiles, so I thought I might as well share them here.They can be used in VX Ace or in MV with a plugin to change the tile size. ![]()
